Phlebotomist Full Time

Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Location: 1127 South Fremont Avenue Unit C, Alhambra, CA 91803. Work Schedule Monday to Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, with rotating weekends. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collecting payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent California state‑issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of experience as a phlebotomist Current or prior experience at LabCorp Additional Job Standards In lieu of state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at the time of hire may meet the requirement 1 year or more experience with geriatrics and pediatric patients Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Pay Range $21.00 - $33.00 per hour Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees working less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are limited to participation in the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO. Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
