Phlebotomist Full Time

Join us in our mission to improve health and lives. Position: Phlebotomy Full Time at 12555 Jefferson Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90066. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:45 am – 4:45 pm, with rotating weekends. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. California state–issued phlebotomy license (CPT). Preferred Qualifications One year or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience at LabCorp. Additional Job Standards If a phlebotomy license is not yet obtained, a filed application with the CA Department of Health at the time of hire may satisfy the requirement. One year or more phlebotomy experience with geriatric and pediatric patients. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Compensation Pay Range: $21.00 – $33.00 per hour. Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled for fewer than 20 hours or in casual, intern, or temporary roles are eligible only for the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7‑on/7‑off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
