Quality Manager

PPS is partnering with an established Northeast Ohio manufacturer seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead its Quality Management System and oversee all quality initiatives across the facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintaining audit readiness, leading continuous improvement efforts, managing quality personnel, reducing defects, and ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards. Candidates with aerospace, automotive, industrial manufacturing, or special process experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Lead the Quality Management System (QMS) Oversee internal, customer, and regulatory audits Manage NADCAP preparation and accreditation activities Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement Develop inspection procedures and quality documentation Coordinate calibration and inspection programs Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Sales Lead supplier quality initiatives Train employees on quality standards and procedures Qualifications 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience Previous leadership or supervisory experience Strong understanding of QMS, ISO standards, and quality systems Experience with SPC, GD&T, PFMEA, PPAP, and Control Plans Root cause analysis experience (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone) Strong communication and leadership skills Preferred Experience NADCAP Aerospace manufacturing ASQ Certifications Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma ISO 9001 Auditing ERP Systems Job Number: 5167 #J-18808-Ljbffr
