Quality Manager

We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Quality Manager search in the Cleveland, OH area. Responsibilities: Oversee and uphold the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure that customer specifications and regulatory requirements are met consistently. Facilitate both internal audits and external certification audits. Set quality benchmarks for precision-manufactured components and assemblies. Create inspection strategies for incoming materials, in-process checks, and final product verification. Drive initiatives aimed at minimizing scrap, defects, and variations in processes. Utilize quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), control plans, and process capability analysis. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a quality management position within a manufacturing setting. Strong background in implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Familiarity with managing or supporting ISO 9001 quality systems.
