About the Role

We're looking for experienced development economists to help shape how AI understands global economics. Your expertise will directly influence the accuracy, depth, and nuance of AI systems tackling some of the world's most complex economic challenges - from poverty and inequality to growth and international development.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role that fits around your existing work and commitments.

What You'll Do

Review and evaluate AI-generated development economics questions, explanations, and reasoning
Assess the accuracy of content related to economic growth, inequality, poverty reduction, and global development
Provide structured, expert feedback to improve the quality and contextual nuance of AI outputs
Apply your academic or real-world experience to validate economic scenarios and data interpretations
Work independently and asynchronously - on your schedule, from anywhere

Who You Are

3+ years of experience teaching, researching, or working in development economics
Strong command of global economic issues, development theory, and data interpretation
Able to critically evaluate written economic reasoning with precision and clarity
Comfortable working with structured, task-based review workflows
Self-motivated and reliable with the ability to meet project deadlines independently

Nice to Have

Graduate degree in Economics or a related field
Field experience, NGO work, or international policy background
Familiarity with AI systems or content evaluation workflows
