Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Real Estate and Construction Litigation Attorney in Louisville, KY. This full-time, in-person role offers the opportunity to gain substantial litigation experience within a supportive environment. The position requires a commitment to a 1,450-hour annual billable expectation and a Monday-through-Friday work schedule. Duties Conduct legal research and analysis. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence. Manage discovery, deadlines, and case files. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts. Assist with case strategy and preparation. Participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations. Work closely with experienced attorneys. Assist with and attend trials. Requirements Strong legal research and analytical abilities. Clear and practical legal writing skills. Effective case and deadline management. Good judgment and attention to detail.Professional client communication skills. Collaborative approach to teamwork. Willingness to learn and accept feedback. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active Kentucky Bar admission preferred. Active Indiana Bar admission considered an advantage.
