To support a growing team, the freelance Technical Translator - French Canadian will translate technical documentation from English into French Canadian while ensuring linguistic accuracy and adherence to project guidelines in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Ensure target text accurately reflects the meaning of the source material Perform linguistic tasks according to project instructions, including the use of translation memory and glossaries Maintain high grammatical accuracy and consistency while adhering to formatting and style guidelines Required qualifications Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, or equivalent experience Native speaker of French Canadian Excellent command of the English language in comprehension and writing Preferred experience in translation and proofreading within the technical field IT skills with knowledge of CAT tools
