Emergency Department Nurse - Emergency DepartmentSchedule - Shift Length: 12-hour shifts - Weekend coverage: Scheduled as needed - Holiday requirement: Must work 2 out of 3 holiday bundlesAssignment Details - Contract Length: Minimum 10 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per weekRequirements - 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred (1.5 years may be considered) - Level II trauma experience required; Level I trauma experience preferred - Strongly preferred travel experience; first-time travelers may be considered if other requirements are met - Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH (NIH can pend until compliance document due date) - EMR: CernerRoles & Responsibilities - Conduct triage, resuscitation, and trauma care for patients in the emergency department - Administer medications, including IV medications, and manage blood product administration - Recognize and manage dysrhythmias and care for ventilators, central/arterial lines, and procedural sedation basics - Start and maintain IVs and perform phlebotomy as neededCompliance / Notes - Documentation due: Compliance documents due 10 days prior to start - Onboarding: Begin compliance within 1–2 weeks of signing; drug screen within 30 days of start - Vaccines: COVID vaccine optional; Flu vaccine required - RTO: Approved requests required, no RTO allowed for first 7 days or on last day of contractClient Details City Albuquerque State NM
