Strategic Collaborations Senior Manager

Abbott seeks a Strategic Collaborations Senior Manager to oversee clinical collaboration studies for diagnostics and medical device development. The role coordinates cross-functional efforts across internal teams and external research partners to advance product development, clinical validation, and biological sample acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Serve as cross-functional partner for collaborative studies, providing visibility and momentum
• Support development of research plans, statements of work, and monitor milestones
• Identify and evaluate new clinical research opportunities and assess R&D impact
• Act as connector across business, clinical, research, legal, and leadership stakeholders
• Create decision-ready materials including dashboards, reports, and presentations on collaboration status

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field
• 7+ years experience in biotech, pharma, diagnostics, or academic research with clinicians
• Ability to interpret complex clinical and scientific data and translate to action items
• Strong project management skills and familiarity with tools such as Smartsheet or MS Project
• Excellent verbal and written communication across multiple functional levels
• Strong organizational skills managing multiple concurrent high-priority projects
• Currently authorized to work in United States; unable to sponsor visas

Compensation: $113,300–$226,700 base
