Primary Responsibility
To assist the Operator and Assistant Operator in the setup & operate when necessary any piece of equipment to run a corrugated box to meet customer specifications
Safety Procedures
Read and understand SAFETY RULES & HOUSEKEEPING GUIDELINES and receive training in proper operating procedures
Receive Instructions In The Following:
- Lockout procedures
- Hearing protection
- Safety shoes
- Moving machinery
- All stop buttons
- All nip points
- Conveyor safety
- Lifting and pushing/pulling
- Safety guards, gates & chain
Equipment Operated
- Flexo Folder Gluer equipment
- Computer input terminal
- Quality test equipment
Quality
- Perform the following quality checks:
- 1st piece dimensional checks
- 1st piece print quality checks
- Random checks during run for dimensions & print
- Ink color & viscosity
- 1st piece visual check fold box complete
- If major problem- shut machine down & notify supervisor
Communication
- Push interrupt buttons
- Verbal
- Hand signals
Educational Training
- Ability to read and do basic math
- Ability to read a tape measure
