Once instruction has been given to you by our Installation Manager, you are responsible for instructing your team and executing a professional install job. You will work hands on with your crew while installing a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment. It is your job to make sure the installation is done properly, safely, and to the high standards of Degree Heating & Cooling all while providing excellent customer service.About You:You have 5+ years of field experience and are looking for an opportunity to grow and be better supportedYou like to get the job done right the first timeA strong communicator and a natural at explaining basic maintenance suggestions to customersYou enjoy training and mentoring apprenticesWhat You'll Do:Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customersDiagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of those heating, air conditioning and ventilation unitsMaintain proper inventory, parts, tools, and knowledge in using appropriate safety equipment in the vehicleMentor and train apprentices on the job and provide them with learning opportunitiesDiagnose service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer's recommendationsExcellent customer service abilities in dealing with customers to resolve technical, logistical, and scheduling issuesPerform quality work with honesty and diligence and follow company procedures and valuesMust Haves:5+ years of field experienceActive Driver's LicenseTech Savvy - The ability to use tablets and learn work related software with easeVerifiable experience to develop quotations for repairs and installations of replacement equipmentDemonstrable analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manualsProven ability in installing, replacing, and serving HVAC systems in new residential and commercial propertiesWillingness to work weekends (Saturdays) or on-call shifts when neededPay Range: Pay is dependent on experience; up to $40/hr plus spiffs and bonuses.
