Location Avera Family Medicine Center, Dawley Farm Position Type Regular Shift Rotating days/evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays Pay Range $32.50 – $48.50 per hour (actual pay dependent on experience) Position Highlights 72 hours/2 weeks – rotating 12‑hour day/night schedule including every other weekend/holiday Floating to all three MCK Emergency Departments Eligible for a $6,000 sign‑on bonus or $15,000 bonus with a 3‑year commitment About the Role Provides nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses, establishing objectives, and defining interventions for acute and ongoing patient needs. Looks after the general health of patients and educates families, friends, and patients about care plans, medical conditions, medication, and self‑care. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient care, review physician prescriptions, and coordinate with other health‑care providers. Develop nursing care plans based on medical histories, examinations, and patient evaluation. Teach healthcare requirements to patients, families, and friends. Evaluate patient progress, measure health outcomes, and modify care plans as necessary. Maintain a safe, infection‑controlled, and secure patient care environment. Document patient services in charting systems. Maintain equipment, supplies, and inventory, ensuring proper function and restocking. Participate in continuous competence development per leadership guidance and organizational policies. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with active state Board of Nursing license. Ability to work required hours and shift rotations. Visual acuity adequate for duties and strong communication skills.
