Are you an experienced Medical Billing and Collections Coordinator looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company? Job Duties Compiles bills, completes appropriate forms, submits claims to proper agencies/insurance companies. Contacts patients/insurance companies to collect unpaid claims. Ensures that all billing, posting, insurance denials and related inquiries are handled in an accurate and timely manner. Verifies client eligibility and acceptance for equipment/service. Serves as a resource for company personnel regarding available services and resources. Reviews and processes any accounts to be referred to a collection agency. Demonstrates the ability to be flexible, organized and function well in stressful situations. Maintains a professional working relationship with insurance companies. Requirements High school diploma required, with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in billing within the healthcare field. Must have strong experience with commercial and patient collections. Must have insurance verification and billing experience. Must be bilingual English/SPANISH. Hours for this Position Monday – Friday (9a- 6p OR 10a- 7p) Advantages of this Opportunity Competitive salary, $15- $16/hr, based on previous pay and experience. Fun and positive work environment.
