Facilities Manager

Facilities Manager (Tioga Downs) As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a Facilities Manager to join our growing team in Tioga Downs on a permanent basis. Working under the guidance of the Head of Global Facilities, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for the management of the facilities in our Tioga Downs Data Center, from managing the unique requirements of a data center facility on an ongoing basis to managing the facility staff. Responsibilities Manage the business of site facilities on an ongoing basis. Work with the facilities team to achieve 99.99% uptime for building, mechanical and electrical infrastructure. Oversee routine and emergency services for critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc. Lead data centre utility, construction and upgrade projects through completion. Negotiate service and maintenance contracts, building leases and environmental impact. Manage facility staff and third‑party suppliers, ensuring delivery against schedule and SLA. Organize health & safety and security for the data centre. Develop processes and documentation to promote good work practice. Be willing and able to be on‑call. Required Qualifications Qualified in facilities management practices with IWFM/IFMA or equivalent. Experience with BMS installation and HVAC controls. Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code. Knowledge of computer room cooling technologies. Experience in staff management and team building. Experience designing and fitting out data centre infrastructure utilizing energy‑saving systems such as free cooling and high‑efficiency UPS. Understanding of the change management process. Strong problem‑solving, root cause analysis and decision‑making skills.
