Technical Sales Specialist (29569) Raleigh, North Carolina Salary: USD70000 - USD90000 per annum Astute’s Nuclear Team is partnering with a science led organisation, to recruit a Technical Sales Specialist to support the growth of its U.S. Advanced Materials business. Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Specialist You will: Drive technical sales and business development across the advanced materials business. Develop new markets and pursue strategic growth opportunities, particularly in nuclear, including small modular reactors (SMRs). Identify, develop and convert commercial opportunities across nuclear, aerospace, defence, alloys and advanced ceramics. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, commercial partners and internal technical teams. Communicate complex technical capabilities as clear customer benefits and collaborate with global experts to bring advanced materials solutions to market. Travel across the U.S. to meet customers and support business development. Required qualifications and experience To be considered, you must have: A degree in Materials Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline. Experience in advanced materials or a closely related technical field. The ability to communicate confidently with engineers, scientists and senior stakeholders. Willingness to travel and regularly attend client sites. Experience in technical sales, business development or a customer-facing commercial role. Salary and benefits Hybrid and flexible working.
