Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a Level 4 Labor and Delivery Recovery (LDR) Unit. This role involves providing safe, efficient, and age-specific nursing care to patients and their families, utilizing the nursing process to promote optimal health outcomes. The position requires delivering relationship-based care, demonstrating technical proficiency, effective communication, and leadership to enhance clinical and operational results.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid driver's license or state ID; UHS Skills Checklist; UHS Submission Packet; UHS Prior Employment Form; at least two years of Level 3 or 4 Labor and Delivery experience; experience requirement: 2 years
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Performs other duties as assigned, complies with policies, and maintains strict confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI). All clinical responsibilities are performed in accordance with departmental documentation, policies, and standards. Candidates must complete annual training on the UH Code of Conduct and policies related to PHI.
