About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent Step Down/PCU experience required. License: Active state license required. Certifications: AHA BLS & ACLS required. Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred. Description: Registered Nurse position in a step-down unit. Night shift with 3-12 hour shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Step Down/PCU. An active state or compact license must be in hand at the time of application. Certification in AHA BLS and ACLS is required. Candidates with charge experience are preferred. All references must be from managers, supervisors, or directors in the specialty. Active certifications must be provided upon application. Candidates will need to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. A negative drug screen is required, with no history of licensure violations.
