Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to support our sales team and utility customers. This role is critical in managing day-to-day customer interactions, processing requests, and ensuring timely and accurate communication between customers, manufacturers, and our outside sales team.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and enjoys building strong customer relationships.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and product requests
• Provide pricing, availability, and lead time information to customers and sales reps
• Coordinate with manufacturers and distributors to obtain quotes and order status updates
• Process orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery
• Maintain and update pricing files, and customer records
• Support outside sales reps with quotes, submittals, and follow-ups
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding order status, backorders, and changes
• Assist in resolving customer issues quickly and professionally

 

 

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales support
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Bonus: Experience in utilities, electrical distribution, or industrial sales
