Kraft Tool Company is a manufacturer and distributor of quality concrete and construction hand tools for professional and homeowner use. Kraft Tool is principally located in Shawnee, Kansas. For over 45 years, Kraft Tool has been a trusted name in the hand tool industry.

As the Woodworking Production Supervisor, you will be overseeing the daily operations of our woodworking tools production processes. With a strong emphasis on quality, efficiency, and safety, you will lead and guide a team of skilled workers to ensure seamless production, adherence to schedules, and the delivery of exceptional woodworking products to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the woodworking manufacturing floor, ensuring the smooth flow of production and timely execution of woodworking schedules.
• Lead, inspire, and mentor the woodworking production team, fostering a culture of teamwork, quality consciousness, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to establish woodworking production goals, budgets, and timelines, and work diligently to achieve them.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction in woodworking, implementing best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished woodworking products, coordinating closely with the Inventory Management team.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all woodworking products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
• Address and resolve any woodworking production-related issues or conflicts, escalating matters to the Production Manager when required.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in woodworking tools manufacturing, incorporating relevant practices into our woodworking production processes. 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience 3 to 5 years as a Woodworking Manufacturing Supervisor or in a similar role within woodworking tools manufacturing or a related industry.
• Extensive woodworking knowledge is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking tools manufacturing processes and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and systems to track and optimize woodworking production metrics.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, allowing for effective management of multiple woodworking tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges in woodworking production.
