Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students across all grade levels in a collaborative school environment near Shelton, WA. With a manageable caseload of approximately 45, you’ll provide essential speech-language services that empower learners to reach their full potential. This full-time position covers four days per week, totaling 35 hours, and spans the entire 26/27 school year—offering the chance to make a meaningful, sustained impact.

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

• Active WA SLP or SLPA License required
• ESA certification required for SLPs
• Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric speech-language services
• Open to SLPs with CCCs, CFYs, and SLPAs
• Previous healthcare or educational setting experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, accessible learning climate

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with varied speech and language needs
• Maintain and organize documentation according to school and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to develop and implement IEPs
• Provide therapy services across all grade levels as assigned
• Communicate regularly with caregivers and participate in school team meetings
• Support students’ functional communication to enhance classroom participation and academic achievement
• Engage in ongoing professional development and uphold ethical, evidence-based practices
