THE OPPORTUNITY Calling all GTM builders and automation wizards. We are looking for a hands-on, data-driven GTM Engineer (Lifecycle & AI) to build the lifecycle and CRM function from the ground up, powered by AI. This is a founding GTM role where you will own email, SMS, and CRM across the full customer journey, from the moment a renter starts an application through approval, lease-up, renewal, and referral, and across the property partners who drive our growth. As the first dedicated GTM Engineer hire, you will own the entire stack: platform selection, segmentation, automated journeys, AI-powered personalization, copy, deliverability, and reporting. You will also be the connective tissue across our GTM motion, building the systems, playbooks, and AI workflows that make the entire revenue team faster and sharper, not just the marketing function. You will work directly with leadership to turn the funnel into an intelligent, AI-driven system, with every campaign tied to activation, conversion, and retention outcomes across the portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, has built lifecycle programs from 0 to 1 before, is fluent in AI tools and workflow automation, and is excited to own a channel end-to-end while shaping how the whole GTM team sells, messages, and wins. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Own the lifecycle marketing engine: email and SMS across the full renter journey and the property-partner journey (onboarding, activation, expansion). Own the ESP/CRM stack end-to-end: platform selection, implementation, integrations with product and sales data, deliverability, and compliance (CAN-SPAM, TCPA). Build the AI tooling that powers GTM: AI agents, LLM-driven personalization, and workflow automation (Clay, n8n, Zapier, or similar), and help the broader team adopt them. Develop segmentation and personalization that speaks differently to renters, landlords, and property managers at every funnel stage, sharpened by AI-driven insights and predictive scoring. Build the automated journeys behind our core metrics: activation flows that convert started applications, nurture flows that turn approvals into signed leases, and retention flows that drive renewals and referrals. Own campaign execution from copy to send: write, build, QA, and ship campaigns yourself, with continuous testing across subject lines, send times, content, and cadence. Bridge Marketing and Sales: align outbound cadences with campaign objectives, keep messaging and talk tracks consistent, and maintain the GTM playbook library as our product and market evolve. Act as the feedback loop from the field, surfacing what's resonating, what objections are emerging, and where our messaging has gaps. ABOUT YOU As a highly motivated and data-driven GTM Engineer, you take full ownership of the lifecycle and CRM function, from initial strategy to final campaign execution, without needing direction. You are deeply committed to your targets, remain structured under pressure, and distinguish true results from mere activity. You thrive in early-stage landscapes where processes are still evolving. Instead of seeing gaps as obstacles, you view them as chances to innovate, bring fresh ideas, and find energy in constructing something new rather than simply working inside it. You are an email and automation wizard, comfortable running multiple campaigns at once, leveraging A/B/C testing, and using AI tooling, from LLM-based content generation to workflow automation and predictive analytics, to drive the highest-performing outcomes across the customer lifecycle. You are also a strong cross-functional partner. You can influence without authority, align stakeholders on priorities and tradeoffs, and translate AI and technical concepts into clear business value for sales teammates, leadership, and partners. When you build something powerful, you make sure the whole team knows how to use it. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE We are looking for a passionate, experienced GTM engineer who is excited about expanding housing access and wants to build a GTM function that has never been built before. 4-6+ years of lifecycle, CRM, GTM engineering, or email marketing experience; startup, proptech, fintech, or insurtech experience is a strong plus Hands-on expertise with a modern ESP/CRM platform (Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, Customer.io, or HubSpot), including journey building, segmentation, and integrations Practical experience with AI tools and automation platforms for GTM (e.g. Clay, n8n, Zapier, ChatGPT/Claude, or similar), used to optimize lifecycle journeys and scale campaign operations Proven track record building lifecycle programs from the ground up in a fast-paced environment: you've selected the stack and set up the flows, not just inherited them Strong analytical skills: deliverability metrics, cohort performance, funnel analysis, and A/B test design are second nature Sharp copywriting instincts and high attention to detail; comfortable owning the message from strategy through the final send Strong written communicator who can translate complex ideas into clear, actionable GTM assets without losing nuance Exposure to sales or GTM enablement is a strong plus: building playbooks, documenting sales motions, or rolling out tooling and processes that made a revenue team measurably better Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email is a plus; comfort with SMS platforms is helpful Experience marketing to both consumers and B2B partners (B2B2C) is highly desirable Familiarity with real estate, rental, or insurance customer journeys is a bonus; curiosity about the space is a must WHAT MAKES THIS OPPORTUNITY DIFFERENT This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing companies in U.S. PropTech at a pivotal moment in our growth.
