Prairie Meadows Slot Technician

As a Prairie Meadows Slot Technician, you'll be keeping the heart of the casino beating. Interested? Read on.
Here's what you'll be responsible for:
- Installation, maintenance, and conversion of casino games
- Troubleshooting and repair of games and associated systems
- Preventative maintenance of slot machines, signage, and other related equipment
- Assistance with jackpot verifications
- Current knowledge of gaming and gaming systems through the Technician's logs, discussions, and manuals
- Familiarity and adherence to all departmental and Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission procedures
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in the gaming industry preferred. Strong math and communication skills are required. A positive and courteous attitude, strong business etiquette, and ability to remain calm when faced with stressful situations is required. Must be able to handle a fast-paced, demanding environment with a secondary smoke element, and elevated noise level. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and 100 lbs. occasionally is required.
