Are you a commercially astute sales professional with extensive experience in the construction products sector?

We are seeking an experienced Sales & Business Development Manager to drive market growth, strengthen customer relationships, and support the continued expansion of a leading international manufacturer within the UK market.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and coordinating commercial and marketing activities across the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting in-depth market research to identify opportunities, competitors, target sectors, and geographic growth areas.
• Managing commercial relationships with customers, including pricing, quotations, negotiations, payment follow-up, and ensuring successful project delivery.
• Coordinating sales activities across product divisions and affiliated companies to maximize market penetration.
• Gathering market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working closely with marketing teams to coordinate campaigns, promotions, and brand-building activities.
• Representing the business at UK trade exhibitions, industry conferences, seminars, and networking events.

About You

We're looking for someone who can combine technical construction knowledge with strong commercial acumen.

You will ideally have:

• 10+ years' experience in construction product sales
• Strong understanding of construction systems and building materials
• Experience selling technical products into the construction industry
• Excellent account management and business development skills
• Strong negotiation and commercial awareness
• Brand and product management experience
• Ability to identify market trends and translate them into business opportunities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
