Sage + Sound was created to offer individuals a curated, credible, holistic wellness experience that allows everyone to explore, test and discover what works best for them. At our 5000 sq. ft Flagship location on the Upper East Side, we provide a variety of curated products, services and wellness classes that invite the community to play, discover and explore what wellness means to them. What you will do Participate in daily store meetings and product/online education in order to provide optimal customer service. Welcome guests into the store and provide an exceptional customer service experience from start to finish. Introduce guests to our products and services and make recommendations by following Sage + Sound Customer Service steps. Educate and inform guests of the benefits of using our products and services and provide demonstrations when necessary. Book service appointments and check guests in and out for service appointments and/or classes. Transact POS sales accurately and maintain reporting as necessary and assisting and offering guidance to fellow Wellness Guides when necessary. Work in back‑of‑house to receive inventory shipments and keep stock neat and organized. Support the planning and execution of in‑store special events. Participate in daily store operations and maintenance including light cleaning, trash, organizing stock, etc. Lead the store in the absence of a Lead / ASM / SM to include customer service and store maintenance (interior and exterior). Lead and participate in learning and development activity. About You Retail or hospitality experience a plus, but not required. Beauty / wellness experience a plus, but not required. Shopify experience preferred, but not required. Willingness to give and receive feedback on improving the store environment and customer service. A can‑do attitude and the willingness to own every challenge and roll up your sleeves as needed. A team player and self‑starter who thrives working in an ambiguous, fast‑paced environment. Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
