Assistant Construction Project Manager - AECOM Hunt

Assistant Construction Project Manager – Cincinnati Airport, Hebron, KY Located in Hebron, KY, this role supports the Cincinnati Airport project as part of the AECOM Hunt construction management team. Responsibilities Assist the Project Management team with administrative tasks on small to moderate size and scope projects or portions of larger projects, following set guidelines. Contact subcontractors to ensure timely submittal of proposals and clarifications. Follow written instructions or standard procedures without ongoing supervision. Consult with supervisor on matters not covered in the original instructions. Interface with the design team, when required. Work closely with construction project teams. Assist with and monitor change orders. Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion within budget and contract compliance. Use document control systems, project management systems, and databases to keep information flow up‑to‑date and accurate. Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed. Minimum Requirements Completed Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar discipline. At least two (2) years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with a large general contractor as an engineer, assistant superintendent, or assistant project manager. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and renderings. Experience with construction documentation such as change orders, RFIs, and RFPs. Experience with construction software such as Procore, E‑Builder, CMiC, etc. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
