As the Customs Operations Specialist, the individual will facilitate transactional support for imports and exports. This role establishes and drives a positive working environment and focuses on the Internal Customer Experience while operating with optimum compliance in all activities with of our guest and fellow colleagues in mind. All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with Royal Caribbean International's The Royal Way, SQM standards, USPH guidelines, environmental, and safety policies. This position description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the Island employee occupying this position. Employees may be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management. All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with the Company's Safety, Quality and Environmental standards. Communicates with customers, origin offices and other departments to obtain necessary information to coordinate customs clearance and delivery of shipments. Responsible for handling files from start to finish for customs clearance, prepare necessary documents for other government agencies such as, delivery and billing.
