About This Role

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety by clearly explaining each phase of the procedure with empathy
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions immediately
- Accurately document procedures and uphold comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
- Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound technologies and best practices
Education Background
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Required Certifications
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
