Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in San Francisco, CA and provide end-user support.Duties and Responsibilities: Candidates must have their own vehicleDeliver a deskside service to the client for support on the laptop / desktop related hardware / software break fix incidentsDeploy, configure, and support mobile devices, printers, RF Scanners, and standard productivity software, for internal users at the siteProvide "Smart Hands" support related to the access points and switches based on the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) provided or as per guided by the client IT teamAssist client's IT team with network and infrastructure initiatives, including hardware and systems administrationParticipate in meetings and planning sessions related to the maintenance, upgrade, infrastructure inventory & risk assessment, and disaster recovery related activities at the siteTake appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements as guided by the client IT support teamsAsset tagging and updating asset database based on the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) provided by clientSkills and Qualifications :2-3+ years of IT support work experienceMust have experience with Windows 10 and 11Provide exceptional Customer Service interfacing with high profile client executives onsiteProvide excellent time management and reporting skillsLaptop/Desktop/Printer hardware and software support and refresh experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills a mustOccasionally works at heights of 20' to 25', lift equipment training providedMust be able to lift up to 25 lbs. solo and 50 lbs. with a partnerMay be required to walk / sit / stand / crawl / kneel for extended periodsWage Range: The rate for this position is between $24.75 - $33.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
