The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Jackson Purchase Medical Center embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for providing specialized care to critically ill patients. This is an 8-bed unit that ensures patients receive optimal medical attention and support. A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient RN license required Handle With Care (HWC) within 6 months of bhire We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
