Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to work out of our Indianapolis office. The role involves contacting customers via phone, email, customer portal and other methods, using critical thinking to resolve billing and service questions, and collaborating with multiple departments and CertaSite leadership. This fast‑paced role reports to the Accounting Manager. Company Perks Referral bonuses starting at $1,000 per referral Comprehensive medical plan options, including dental and vision 401K plan with company match Generous paid time off, paid holidays, and paid parental leave Company giveaways Opportunities for community service and charity involvement Work at a mission-driven company, focused on people Continued growth and expansion into new markets and products and services What You Will Be Doing Making phone calls, sending emails and communicating with customers on open invoices due to CertaSite Researching customer questions to help resolve issues and secure payment of invoices Communicating with operations team members, both locally and at branch locations across the Midwest to provide answers and feedback regarding customer communications Cross‑training in operating various systems to update customer records and provide customers with necessary information regarding invoices Reconciling high dollar, high volume customer accounts between billings, payments and adjustments Cross‑training in Sage Intacct to aid in Cash Application as needed Maintaining minimum customer contacts on a daily/weekly/monthly basis Working onsite in our Corporate Office; daily commute required Other duties and projects as assigned Qualifications 2 or more years of relevant Accounts Receivable/Collections experience in a fast‑paced work environment Excellent communication skills to follow through and follow up on open items Strong attention to detail and accuracy Well‑organized Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Good math and numerical ability to analyze customer billings Proficient in Word and Outlook Strong Excel skills (pivot tables and V‑lookups knowledge a plus) Sage Intacct experience not required, but a plus Work Authorization Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
