Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Our Client is a dynamic and growing organization that prides themselves on their commitment to excellence, innovation, and employee development. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accounting Clerk to join their finance team.

Position Overview: They are seeking an Accounting Clerk with a minimum of 2 years of experience to support their finance department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling various accounting tasks efficiently. Responsibilities:

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders accurately.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and spreadsheets.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Collaborate with team members to accomplish department goals.
Provide support for other finance-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
Associate's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or related field.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
