Tooling Technician
Express Employment Professionals - Irvine is seeking Tooling Technicians for an aerospace manufacturing company in the Irvine, CA area. These are full-time, permanent, direct hire opportunities starting at $22.00-$26.00/hour. Both first and second shifts are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble tooling, fixtures, and manufactured components according to blueprints and specifications
- Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy
- Drill, tap, fit, and install hardware and components
- Identify and label tooling as required
- Perform basic testing and verification of completed assemblies
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements
- 2 years of assembly, tool building, or manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
