CNC Swiss Machinist

ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, CAD models, and work ordersSet up and operate CNC machines, primarily lathes, to produce precision componentsSelect tooling, cutting speeds, feed rates, and coolant applications based on material specificationsInspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment to ensure conformance to tolerancesProgram, edit, and troubleshoot CNC machine code (G-code) as neededPerform routine machine maintenance and minor equipment repairsIdentify and resolve tooling issues, material defects, and dimensional inaccuraciesMaintain production records, quality documentation, and job tracking informationFollow OSHA, company safety standards, and PPE requirementsCollaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve manufacturing processesMaintain a clean and organized work areaComplete all other duties as assignedRequirementsEducationHigh School Diploma preferredTechnical or vocational machining training preferredTechnical SkillsProficiency reading blueprints and technical drawingsExperience with CNC machining and machine setupKnowledge of machining tolerances and quality control practicesAbility to use precision measuring equipmentExperience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or similar controls is a plusBasic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills related to machiningSoft SkillsExceptional attention to detailStrong problem-solving skillsEffective communication and teamworkAbility to follow detailed work instructionsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift and move up to 50 poundsAbility to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety footwear #J-18808-Ljbffr
