In this role you will lead and manage all aspects of utility construction for various types of telecom projects overseeing site planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation.Why TAK?Full TimePaid WeeklyCompensation: $90K - $135K annually, DOEFull Benefits Package (Medical, Dental & Vision)Vacation: 80 hours accrued annuallySick Time: Accrue 1 hour for every 30 hours workedHolidays: Up to 6 days annually401(k) with Company Match!25K Company Paid Life InsuranceIndependent Work & Team CollaborationCareer Development & Advancement Opportunities!The RoleOwns market-level relationships with municipalities, jurisdictions, and customers, ensuring alignment and long-term partnership successAccountable for end-to-end resolution of resident and community issues across all projects in the regionEnsures consistent execution of community engagement and stakeholder communication strategy across all field teamsLead and manage all aspects of utility construction for various types of telecom projectsOversee site planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocationSupervise and coordinate onsite construction activities, ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes and safety regulationsConduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues or risks and implement corrective actions as neededManage relationships with external contractors, vendors and suppliers, ensure alignment with project requirements and company standardsPrepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, construction drawings, permits and change ordersCommunicate effectively with project stakeholders, provide regular updates on project status, milestones and budgetary considerationsImplement and enforce best practices for construction quality control, safety protocol and environmental complianceWork a flexible schedule with varied hours; some evenings and weekends as neededOther duties as assignedRequirements8-10 years of total relevant experience including at least 5 years of recent experience in a supervisory/leadership roleBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or relevant field of study; or equivalent work experienceKnowledge and prior work experience in telecom construction industry - Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, map reading, etc.Knowledge and experience with aerial and underground constructionOSHA 10 certification a plusPractical knowledge of Network operations and associated inventory for both RF and fiber networksExperience in estimating, bidding projects and change order preparationProblem-solving and like to troubleshoot problems as they arise in the fieldEmbrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your teamWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom softwareExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsProfessional demeanorMust possess the capacity to learn, adapt to change, and become proficient quicklyAbility to manage stress, exercise self-control, adhere to company policies and uphold the mission of the organizationAbility to work a flexible schedule with varied hours; some evenings and weekends as neededMust provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver's license is required if the role involves drivingPassing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)The compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
