AP Staff Accountant

This role focuses on managing journal entries and general ledger operations within a collaborative finance team. The successful candidate will work closely with other finance professionals to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity. This role is essential for properly accounting and reconciling $30 million to $50 million of liabilities on a monthly basis. Key Responsibilities Manage and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Perform reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial data and resolve discrepancies. Assist with data loads into financial systems, validating data accuracy post-load. Collaborate with the finance team to support accounts payable processes and improve efficiencies. Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree in either Accounting or Finance is required. Experience with journal entries and general ledger management is essential. Proficiency in Excel is necessary, with strong analytical skills. Experience in accounts payable is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with Oracle systems is a plus.
