Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field: Required
• Labor and Delivery and Level 2 NICU experience: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Delivers coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates patient care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care.
• Facilitates learning for patients/family members and provides education on health management.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Scrubs are provided if needed; specific color scrubs required. Medical and religious exemptions for vaccinations may apply.
