Registered Nurse - ICU

$2611.20/week – Job Summary:Seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a winter contract with options for 13 or 18 weeks. This role requires expertise in open heart procedures, critical care competencies, and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.Responsibilities:Provide specialized care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including those post-CABG, valve surgeries, Impella, and IABP support.Interpret telemetry strips, ventilator settings, and sedation levels to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including CRRT, EEG monitoring, hypothermia protocols, and prone positioning.Float within hospital units as needed, supporting high-risk respiratory or COVID-19 patient care, while maintaining clinical excellence.Document patient care accurately in EPIC and communicate changes effectively to healthcare team members.Qualifications:Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.Must hold a valid Ohio Registered Nurse license or equivalent compact license.Minimum of 2 years ICU RN experience with open heart surgery background.Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records and interpretation of EKG strips.Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA.Ability to complete online EKG tele competency assessment prior to start.Benefits & Growth:Opportunity to work in a Level III Trauma Center with diverse critical care cases.Enhance clinical skills in a supportive hospital environment with ongoing orientation modules.Contribute to family-centered care practices in a hospital prioritizing patient and visitor satisfaction.Benefits Day 1 Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceTravel reimbursement for assignmentsPaid sick leave and additional valuable benefitsAccess to our $1,000 Inspire a Friend Referral Program Why TactStaff?
