Director of Business Development

We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead the company's growth initiatives and identify new opportunities for revenue expansion. This individual will be responsible for developing strategic relationships, generating new business, expanding existing accounts, and working closely with leadership to execute the company's growth strategy. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, clients, and partnerships. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners. Own the business development pipeline from initial prospecting through negotiation and close. Develop proposals, presentations, RFP responses, and commercial strategies. Partner with senior leadership, sales, marketing, and operations teams to support growth initiatives. Research market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects. Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements where appropriate. Expand relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for additional revenue. Track business development activity, pipeline performance, revenue forecasts, and key KPIs. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Lead, mentor, and develop members of the business development or sales team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred. 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related commercial role. Proven track record of generating new business and growing revenue. Strong understanding of sales and business development processes. Experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiating commercial agreements. Strong relationship-building and communication skills. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Highly motivated, commercially driven, and comfortable working toward revenue targets. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales pipelines.
