Job Summary:
Dialysis Nurse specializing in Hemodialysis is sought for a position in Salida, Colorado. This role involves providing in-center, acute, and peritoneal dialysis care, including patient assessment, monitoring, and technical operation of dialysis machinery. The position requires adherence to safety and clinical protocols to ensure patient well-being.

Job Details:

• Location: Salida, Colorado
• Schedule: Days, Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with possible holiday coverage if the unit is operating
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of nursing diploma or Associate's degree in nursing; Bachelor's degree or higher preferred. Must maintain active, current license as a Registered Nurse in Colorado. Current CPR and ACLS certifications are required.
• Certifications: Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Responsibilities: Perform daily dialysis care, pre-assessment, ongoing assessment, and post-assessment of patients; operate dialysis machinery with technical skill; access fistula or shunt carefully to prevent clotting.
• Additional Information: Previous Hemodialysis experience of at least 6 months is required. The role may include other duties as assigned and can be modified for reasonable accommodation or operational needs.
