Tank Cleaning Supervisor

Responsibilities
\nWe are looking for someone who has previous hands-on experience in the tank cleaning industry and understands what it takes to handle a project from start to finish.
\n \nThe ideal candidate will have experience with shipyard, marine vessel, fuel, oil, chemical, industrial, or similar tank cleaning operations, including confined-space work and the safety requirements associated with this type of environment.
\n \nQualifications
\nThe successful candidate will have significant autonomy to help develop this division, including:
\n* Establishing the complete tank cleaning operation
\n* Identifying required equipment, tooling, PPE, and support resources
\n* Developing operating procedures and safety protocols
\n* Recruiting, training, and managing tank cleaning crews
\n* Managing confined-space entry and associated safety requirements
\n* Establishing production expectations and job-costing procedures
\n* Working directly with shipyard management, customers, subcontractors, and vendors
\n* Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably
\n \nExperience We Are Looking For
\nCandidates should have meaningful previous experience in more than one of the following:
\n* Marine or shipyard tank cleaning
\n* Industrial tank cleaning
\n* Fuel or petroleum tank cleaning
\n* Vessel or barge cleaning
\n* Confined-space industrial services
\n* Environmental or industrial cleaning operations
\n*Technical Flushing of fuels, MRGs, and acid Flushing
\n \nPrevious supervisory experience is strongly preferred; however, we are particularly interested in individuals who truly understand the tank cleaning business and have the ability and ambition to build an operation.
\nKnowledge of OSHA requirements, confined-space entry, respiratory protection, hazardous environments, gas monitoring, ventilation, waste handling, and industrial safety procedures is highly desirable.
