Human Resource Manager

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. Responsibilities Establish and maintain employee personnel files in confidential and secure manner. Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized persons. Maintains employee files on the Visual, IQS and AAP systems. Compile data from personnel records and prepare related reports. Track and maintain HR metrics and prepare related reports such as turnover, absenteeism, etc. Retain benefit related records and reports in accordance with related Federal, State and ERISA regulations. Initiate all employee termination forms and paperwork, including payroll change form, DET notice, COBRA, etc. Maintain and administer employee performance review tracking system. Issue managerial reminders and follow up on them to ensure timely completion of performance evaluations. Has the ability to represent the company as needed. Coordinate placement of advertisement, receive, processes, logs and maintains employment applications. Recruitment of employees - Liaise with Recruitment Services. Assist hiring manager in scheduling of interviews. Coordinate all pre-employment screening and background checks as required by position. Phone screening of applicants. Maintain all related records as required by related regulations. Prepare for approval offer letters as needed/appropriate. Prepare sign off letters for candidates not selected. Maintain applicant flow log. Coordinate new hire on-boarding process in preparation for start date. Conduct new employee orientation in accordance with established plan and procedures. Ensure employee receipt and acknowledgement of all new hire documentation, policies and benefits. Recruit and onboard new hires. Conduct performance management and provide feedback. Manage payroll and benefits for employees. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or relevant experience 5+ years' experience in Human Resources Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills #J-18808-Ljbffr WGI Inc.
