Inside Sales Representative

ROLE SUMMARY The Inside Sales Representative at Quanterix will serve as a key commercial partner to field-based Business Development Managers (BDMs), acting as a territory overlay to drive consumables revenue and instrument service plan bookings across the DACH region. This role is responsible for expanding account penetration, driving service plan adoption, and maximizing pull-through consumable revenue per instrument through close collaboration with field sales. The ideal candidate is a native German speaker with a scientific background who thrives in a highly collaborative, customer-focused environment. WHAT YOU’LL DO Partner closely with assigned BDMs to execute territory strategies, acting as an overlay to support account growth and pipeline development Own and deliver against a consumables revenue quota and instrument service plan booking target within the assigned territory Proactively engage existing customers to drive reorders, renewals, and upsell opportunities in alignment with field sales priorities Support lead qualification and early-stage opportunity development, enabling BDMs to focus on high-value instrument sales cycles Coordinate outreach and follow-up from marketing campaigns, events, and inbound inquiries to generate qualified opportunities Prospect for new end users of instruments placed in central laboratory facilities Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and customer activity in CRM systems, ensuring strong communication and alignment with field teams BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related life sciences field Native German speaker, with professional fluency in English Minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting or a customer service role PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in a customer-facing or customer service role within the life sciences or biotech industry EXPECTATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES Fully remote position, requirement to have a home office area with dependable internet connection.
