Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BCLS and NIH required Must-Have: - 2+ years of experience preferred - First-timers accepted - Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend for day shift Description: This is a Neuro/Ortho Unit position in a medical surgical tele unit. The nurse will be expected to care for patients with orthopedic and neurology diagnoses. The patient ratio is 1:6. The position requires floating within the service line, excluding specific units. Certified nurses will follow all safety and isolation precautions. Responsibilities include managing telemetry patients, IV starts, and PCA management. The role focuses on providing high-quality care to adult patients. Certification requirements also include BLS and NIH. No on-call shifts are required. Travelers must comply with all regulatory requirements throughout the contract period. Candidates must complete required skills assessments as part of the application process.
