About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH required Must-Have: Patient ratio experience, interpretation of dysrhythmias, telemetry Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in a progressive care unit during the night shift. Ratios for this unit are 1:5-6. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a telemetry setting. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend requirements include working two shifts every other weekend. Certifications required include ACLS, BCLS, and NIH. The clinician will float within their scope as needed to meet facility needs. No on-call requirements are expected for this position. The facility has a total of 233 staffed beds. Daily patient census averages 27. Patient diagnoses include telemetry and telemetry stroke patients, with some cardiac medications. All travelers must comply with facility policies, including floating within the service line as needed. Contract expectations must be fulfilled, including no mid-contract cancellations for other assignments. Compliance with all documentation requirements will be expected prior to the start of the assignment.
