About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BCLS and NIH required; ACLS and CPI preferred Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - Ability to read cardiac rhythms - Knowledge of cardiac medications and drips (no titration) Description: The role involves providing care to patients in a telemetry setting. You will be responsible for monitoring cardiac telemetry patients. The patient ratios are 1:5-6 during the day shifts. You will administer cardiac medications and manage cardiac drips without titration. The ability to interpret dysrhythmias is essential. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy and social services. A minimum of 6 weekend shifts is required over a 6-week period. You will ensure compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies. The daily census on the unit is approximately 14 patients. This position emphasizes patient-centered care and effective communication. You will engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities. Furthermore, adherence to all required certifications and competencies is mandatory.
