Lead Contract ManagerThis role serves as a key member of Sandisk's Product & Commercial Legal Services team, negotiating and managing commercial contracts for Sandisk's Procurement and Logistics organization, and partnering closely with Engineering, Operations, IT, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to help drive commercial outcomes while managing risk. The ideal candidate for this role will provide practical, high-quality, solutions-oriented support to our global stakeholders, with a primary focus on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a broad range of commercial transactions, while identifying contractual risks and supporting business objectives in a fast-paced technology environment. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted business partner to stakeholders and help facilitate commercial outcomes through effective contract negotiation, practical risk identification, and sound business judgment. This full-time position will report to the Director, Senior Counsel, Global Commercial Contracts, and is based at Sandisk's office in Milpitas, California or Irvine, California.Essential duties and responsibilities include independently drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide variety of commercial contracts, providing practical contract guidance and risk assessments to business stakeholders, supporting stakeholders with contract interpretation, working closely with commercial contracts attorneys, Procurement, Logistics, IT, Engineering, Finance, HR, Operations, Marketing, and other business functions to support commercial transactions, resolving contractual issues, and facilitating business objectives, supporting sourcing, operational, and manufacturing-related arrangements, assisting with the development and maintenance of contract templates, playbooks, guidance materials, and contracting processes that improve efficiency and consistency, and supporting strategic company initiatives and special projects.Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, at least 6 years of relevant experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering commercial agreements in an in-house legal department or similar business environment, strong understanding of commercial contracting principles, contract negotiation, risk allocation, and contract administration, ability to independently manage routine and increasingly complex transactions from initiation through execution while exercising sound business judgment, experience working in or advising technology, manufacturing, semiconductor, or supply chain organizations, strong business judgment and ability to provide practical, solutions-oriented guidance to cross-functional stakeholders, self-starter who takes ownership of work and demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively with others in a team environment, ability to effectively identify business objectives and communicate risks, considerations, and proposed strategies with internal business clients, excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and analytical skills, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.Preferred experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) solutions and contracting workflow tools is a plus.
