As a Security Officer Screening Operations Officer in Groveport, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic tech and communications location, you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and deliveries, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to stay visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Screen individuals and belongings at designated entry points using approved procedures and equipment, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and policy concerns through proper channels.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Document screening activity, visitor interactions, and incident details accurately, and communicate clearly with site contacts, coworkers, and/or local responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
