As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic public transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for riders, visitors, and staff.

DayTimeSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at transportation facilities and surrounding property.
- Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit locations, parking areas, platforms, buildings, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that could require attention.
- Monitor access points and public areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, assist riders and visitors with directions, and/or communicate policy information in a professional manner.
- Support daily operations by observing passenger and visitor activity, reporting maintenance or operational issues, and coordinating with staff and first responders when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
