Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join our team as an Ultrasound Technologist in Gardner, MA at a hospital. Use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. You will perform abdominal, OB, and small parts exams, prepare and instruct patients, select transducers, adjust equipment settings, record and save images, and document test data in the computer system.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred credentialing organizations).
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Experience performing general abdominal, obstetric, and small parts sonography.
• Experience entering test data and patient information into computerized systems.
• Willingness to rotate on-call weekends and holidays as required by the schedule (client-specific requirement).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional ARDMS specialty certifications.
• Experience in a hospital setting.

Assignment Details

• (4) 10 hour shifts.
• Monday and Tuesday: 12:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
• Thursday and Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
• Rotating on-call weekends: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and holidays.
