• Ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures, clearly explaining each phase with patience and understanding
• Cooperate with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Handle and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any issues promptly
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and accurately document procedures within the electronic medical record system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and imaging methodologies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
